Ordinary people grow timber on their land and sell it to timber dealers for profit. Some people, like Mike Callesen, have his land cleared of some timber each year to make the land better for wildlife.  He contracts with a timber company, gets paid for his trees, and has his land cleared of some extra trees as a bonus!  Is that what "win/win" means?
